Obverse:
Bust of the Queen facing right and wearing a tiara, by Ian Rank-Broadley, the letters IRB below the truncation.
Reverse:
In 1997, for the tenth anniversary of the gold Britannia coins, a special design was created, showing Britannia driving a chariot, in the style of Boudicca (Boudicea). This year it has been re-issued using this design, making it a rather special year for the collector of Britannia coins.
