The King's bare head to right. at the base of the truncation the letters W.W. incuse, with stops, standing for William Wyon. Legend: GULIELMUS IIII D:G:BRITANNIAR: REX F:D:
Reverse:
The Ensigns Armorial of the United Kingdom within a shield surmounted by a crown, in the centre a smaller shield containing the Hannoverian arms surmounted by a small crown. The word ANNO appears in field at the bottom of the left side and the date appears in a similar position on the right side.
