Obverse:
Bust of the Queen facing right and wearing a tiara by Ian Rank-Broadley, the letters IRB below the truncation. Legend: ELIZABETH·II·D·G REG·F·D·2001
Reverse:
Designed by Mary Milner-Dickens, who was commissioned on multiple occasions to work on Royal Mint coins. Her design depicts Queen Victoria's head sat within a V shape. The architecture surrounding the Queen is meant to look like the famous Crystal Palace in London.
