Young head of Victoria to left. Hair bound with double fillet and collected up into a knot behind. Date on field below truncation. The letters W.W. incuse on the bottom of the truncation. Legend Obverse: VICTORIA DEI GRATIA
Course beading type with no dot on Reverse, Marsh 445A Rarity 4. Super rare half sovereign in a lovely grade, Marsh states fewer than 11-20 examples known. Legend Reverse: BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID:DEF:

The Ensigns Armorial of the United Kingdom within a garnished shield, surmounted by a crown. A small flower stop appears in the field either side of the lower garnishing at the bottom of the crown. Die number appears below the bottom of the garnishing.
