Obverse:
Bust of the Queen facing right and wearing a tiara, by Ian Rank-Broadley, the letters IRB below the truncation.
Reverse:
This one year design features a left facing standing Britannia by engraver John Bergdahl. Britannia is depicted holding the trident in her right hand and a large shield to the front. The hem of her dress has been transformed into waves, with a lighthouse in the background with the engraver's initials JB set below.
